The Honorable Robert Ouellette, AFP of Florida State President spoke on building a world of peace through practicing God’s love and selflessly serving others . Mr. Willis K.C. Bowick, President and CEO Suncoast Chamber of Commerce, presented a talk entitled; “Learning From the Past to Change the Future.”

The Ambassadors for Peace Association of Jacksonville and the Safehouse Ministry presented an inspirational program in commemoration of the UN International Day of Peace at the Lamplighter Community Building on September 9, 2009. The Theme was “The Principles for Building a True Loving Family”

Dr. Joe Howell, founder of SafeHouse, and his assistant Kenny each gave an inspirational message. SafeHouse also donated groceries and clothing to anyone in need, the response of people donating goods was very gratifying.

Palm Coast, Florida

Ambassadors for Peace of Florida joined with Scout Troop 270 in Palm Coast for a community clean-up event to commemorate the UN International Day of Peace
